I am an innovative problem solver with extensive leadership experience in a variety of industries.
My interests in software engineering have led me to learning a multitude of languages including C++, PHP/SQL, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Assembly, Python, and HTML/CSS/Javascript that I have used to implement various projects which can be viewed below.
This is a web application designed to allow user to search for recipes based on ingredients they have at home. It was a project for a database course at Oregon State University. The front-end was built using Javascript/HTML/CSS. Server-side code was built with PHP and MySQL.
You can demo the application here.
Special thanks to Joe Pfohl - my project partner. A huge thanks to Beth Moncel of Budget Bytes who allowed us to use recipe information from her website to seed the database for our application.
This is my how-to guide I've created for the styling laguage sass using Node. It is for the novice developer who has some understanding of HTML/CSS and Javascript. The guide runs through installation and features of sass such as preprocessing, partials, mixins, inheritance, and functions. It also includes exercises to test your understanding using Sassmeister.

This is a web scraper implemented in Ruby and Nokogiri to collect recipes from Budget Bytes. You can view and download the source code here.
This is a text-based game written in C++. You can view and download the source code here. The source code comes with a makefile that will discuss how to run it in command line

I am a physician assistant in a fast-paced pain management medical practice. I develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals to manage their chronic pain. I coordinate and collaborate care with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, psychologists, surgical specialists, and primary care physicians. In addition, I perform in-office patient procedures.
